Kangertech’s original EVOD Starter Kit was one of the most popular and welcomed kits in the vape community, single-handedly paving the way for millions of smokers to finally make the transition from smoking to vaping. Kanger’s latest EVOD Pro Starter Kit introduces a massive upgrade to the EVOD platform, providing a significant increase in vapor production and battery power thanks to evolving vape technology and sub-ohm vaping potential.
Inside the EVOD Pro box, Kangertech includes a MicroUSB charge cable, a battery safety information cutout, an authenticity code for product verification and an instructional filling warning card. At the very bottom of the box is an EVOD Pro cutout that can be taken out to reveal the device’s operational instructions and mod specifications.
Unlike the previous EVOD kit, the EVOD Pro features an all-in-one construction with a non-removable atomizer. On top of the device is a 510 Delrin drip tip and two fixed, non-adjustable air holes. A MicroUSB charge port can be found on one side of the EVOD Pro, and located on the opposite side is the protruded firing button. At the bottom of the device is a threaded battery door that can be removed with a few simple turns to reveal the single 18650 battery bay (18650 battery NOT included). The battery door features built-in venting holes and a negative stainless steel connector pin that can be raised or lowered via threaded tab on the bottom. Lowering the connector pin is advised if you plan on traveling with the device in your pocket without removing the battery.
The EVOD Pro is an all-in-one, 4mL capacity, top-filling eGo styled vaporizer. The device houses a single 18650 battery and charges incredibly fast at 1A, promoting a direct current output of 4.2V. The EVOD Pro stands at 133mm tall and supports a minimum resistance of 0.15 ohms.
To fill this device, simply unscrew the top cap. Inside, you’ll find a 1.0 ohm Nichrome coil pre-installed. Before you fill the tank, be sure to prime your coil with 5-6 drops of E-Juice directly into the wicking ports on each side. Once the coil is primed, set it aside and begin filling the tank up to the MAX FILL line. Once the tank is full, thread the top cap back onto the tank and set it aside for about 5 minutes. This will allow the wick some time to fully saturate with e-juice and prevent a potentially dry hit.
