Joyetech eVic VTwo Mini Cubis Pro Kit Overview

Joyetech redesigned the eVic Mini, adding features galore to their newest eVic VTwo Mini CUBIS Pro Kit. The eVic VTwo Mini comes with Joyetech’s latest firmware v4.02 update already preinstalled. Firmware 4.02 includes a customizable startup logo, game mode (Flappy Bird), Smart Mode, and a realtime clock display that can be configured to display an analog/digital clock. The eVic VTwo is completely identical in size when compared to the eVic Mini (82mm tall, 22.20 x 38.20mm wide) and houses a single external 18650 battery (not included) behind a magnetic battery door.

The eVic VTwo Mini is a 75w variable wattage device that offers temperature control with Nickel, Titanium and SS316 coils. This mod supports a resistance range of 0.05-1.05 ohms in TC mode and 0.1-3.5 ohms in VW/Bypass mode, and can be used at temperatures between 200-600 degrees Fahrenheit (100-315 Celsius). The eVic VTwo also applies a dual battery protection system that prevents the battery from over-charging and over discharging as an extra battery-safety precaution.

The CUBIS Pro is constructed out of Stainless Steel and offers a few new features that we haven’t seen yet from Joyetech. This 4mL capacity cup style/top fill tank is compatible with the long line of BF series coil heads, as well as some of the newest coils we haven’t seen yet, until now. The CUBIS Pro offers the new QCS head (Quick Change System) which allows you to change the cotton in the head fast and effortlessly. In addition to the QCS head, Joyetech added a CUBIS LVC (Liquid Valve Control) 1.5 ohm Clapton coil head. The LVC head allows the user to rotate a ring (located on the base of the coil) that effectively controls how fast the wick is absorbing e-juice. The CUBIS Pro also includes a removable mouthpiece and ships with a secondary corkscrew mouthpiece that can be used to alleviate spit back. This top-fill tank is fitted with a dual adjustable airflow ring and supports a Stainless Steel connector pin. The eVic VTwo Mini is a compact, yet powerful device that features the latest and greatest in temperature control technology while maintaining an impressive 75w maximum output wattage. In this kit, the VTwo Mini is combined with the CUBIS Pro atomizer, providing one of the most satisfying vapes possible with this high-powered device.

Upon opening the box, you’re immediately greeted the VTwo Mini mod. Dig deeper and you’ll find a CUBIS Pro atomizer user manual, warranty card, Evic VTwo user manual and the CUBIS Pro sub-ohm tank. JoyeTech also included is a CUBIS Pro priming guide, a MicroUSB cable for charging and firmware upgrades, the EVic VTC Mini silicon protective sleeve, a second corkscrew mouthpiece, a 0.25 ohm QCS NotchCoil atomizer head, a 0.5 ohm DL SS316 head, a 1.5 ohm LVC MTL Clapton head and some extra cotton.

Joyetech’s eVic VTwo Mini is a 75W device that possesses temperature control potential with stainless steel, nickel and titanium coils. At the top of the device is a stainless-threaded 510 connection that houses a spring-loaded contact pin. On the front face of the device is a protruded firing button, OLED screen display, two regulatory buttons and the MicroUSB charge port that can also be used for firmware upgrades. On the back of the device is a powerful magnetic battery door that conceals a single 18650 battery (not included).

With a battery inserted, 5 clicks of the fire button powers the device on and shows that it is currently in wattage mode. The wattage is displayed at the top of the OLED screen, followed by the voltage, coil resistance, puff counter and the battery power indicator. Three clicks of the fire button changes the current mode, taking us first into Bypass mode, then Smart Mode, Time and Date Settings, Temperature Control Mode, and lastly the customizable TCR mode.

The eVic VTwo Mini premieres firmware version 4.02, providing the user with a Realtime Clock Display and Custom Logo potential. Now you can create your own custom logo in MS Paint and upload it to the device to display on the home screen. When the device enters sleep mode, the Real Time Clock is displayed on the OLED screen in either Analog Clock mode or Digital Clock mode for your time-keeping viewing pleasure.

The CUBIS Pro atomizer offers a sleek new design and some updated features when compared to the previous model. This stainless steel tank has a 4mL fill-capacity and a unique cup-fill design. At the top of the tank is a removable mouthpiece and an adjustable airflow ring with side airflow cutouts. The CUBIS Pro features a Pyrex glass construction that provides solid durability and allows the user to monitor their current e-juice levels easily while vaping. JoyeTech does not pre-install the atomizer head before shipping, so the user will have to install one of the three included coil heads that are shipped with the device.

To install the coil, simply unscrew the top cap and thread the coil onto the chimney. You’ll want to make sure to prime the coil before installing and using this device. If you’re unsure how prime your coils, take a look at our Tank Maintenance and troubleshooting tutorial. There you’ll find all the information you need to properly take care of your tank. Once your coils are primed and saturated with e-juice, go ahead and thread the top cap back onto the tank. The top cap for the CUBIS Pro is actually constructed with two separate pieces. To fill the tank, firmly hold the airflow ring AND tank with one hand, and unscrew the top cap with the other. If the top cap is hard to remove at first, try using a towel or something that will give you a little extra grip. With the top cap removed, you can see down into the chimney and the two top filling ports on the side. Grab your favorite e-juice, and fill the tank using the holes on the side. Try to avoid getting e-Juice into the center hole. Once the tank is full, we can re-attach the top cap and the CUBIS Pro is ready to vape.

All in all, JoyeTech’s eVic VTwo Mini kit can handle just about anything. Although the VTwo Mini device hasn’t changed much, the CUBIS Pro more than makes up for it. At 75w, this device puts out a great deal of vapor, and the flavor is on point. The added top-fill function to the new and improved CUBIS Pro makes this easy-to-fill tank even easier.
