Vaporesso’s Tarot Nano kit appeals to the world of the small, providing one of the indus-tries smallest flavor-driven devices that does not slack on vapor production. This appeal-ing, pocket-friendly device is paired with the 2mL Veco tank, which promotes a com-pletely leak-free, top-airflow design, making the most of Vaporesso’s all-new Eco-Universal atomizer heads. With these two powers combined, Vaporesso offers an afford-able kit that’ll outperform many of the larger and more expensive setups on the market today.
On the front of the box we’ve got the Tarot Nano, entire kit contents on the side, and on the back of the box you’ll see some kit specifications. Going inside the box and you’ll see two different sections; on the left-hand side you’ll find a box that contains a neat Vapor-esso envelope with warranty card inside, Tarot Nano instruction manual, Micro-USB charge cable, and a replacement EUC Ceramic-styled atomizer head. Opening up the right side and you’re greeted by the compact Tarot Nano, an extra piece of glass with a baggy inside that contains some spare o-rings, and the Veco sub-ohm tank. The palm-sized Tarot Nano is one of the smallest devices on the market today, supporting a com-pact frame that’s constructed out of Zinc and Aluminum Alloy, standing at 69mm tall and is 38mm wide. The size of its tiny chassis is comparable to many of the industry’s most popular atomizers, and when lined up next to the TFV12 Cloud Beast King, the Tarot Nano and Cloud Beast King are virtually indistinguishable in size. Up top, we’ve got a Stainless threaded 510 connection that sits at the center of the device which houses a Gold-Plated Hexagonal Spring-loaded contact pin. On the side, you’ll find another hexag-onal-shaped firing button at the top, a two-line OLED display that’s almost an inch across, two regulatory buttons, and a designated mode-selector button. All four of these buttons are constructed out of metal and provide a spiral design to increase the grip of its overall surface area. On the front, you’ll see a glossy Carbon Fiber design and some Vaporesso branding, and on the back of the device, a Micro USB port for charging the battery and firmware upgrades, as well as seven battery venting holes constructed into the bottom of the chassis. What you can’t see, is the internal 2500 mah battery, and the impressive OMNI Board which sets this tiny device apart from the competition in some pretty big ways. Six clicks of the fire button powers the device on. With the device powered on, you can see the battery power on the left, followed by the resistance, voltage, current wattage and vape mode. The Tarot Nano can handle resistances as low as 0.15 ohms while scal-ing up all the way to 5 ohms, and features an operational wattage between 5 and 80W. Holding down the Mode selector button at the bottom will cycle through the six available vape modes. The Tarot Nano is equipped with Nickel, Stainless Steel, and Titanium Temperature Control modes and features two TCR modes to set your own custom tem-perature coefficient. If Variable Wattage or Temperature Control mode just aren’t your thing, you can use bypass mode and vape relying solely on the Tarot Nano’s battery power. One of the more unique features the OMNI board presents is it’s Customized Curve of Wattage functionality, or CCW. CCW allows you to set a custom wattage at half-second intervals that’ll increase or decrease the wattage over a five second time pe-riod. Using CCW mode, you could have a powerful draw at first that slowly ramps down over time, or vice-versa. This new feature will benefit vapers that’d prefer taking longer draws, but do not, in fear of accidentally burning the cotton. Similar to CCW, the Tarot Nano also offers Customized Curve of Temperature in any of the Temperature Control modes. When using CCT, you can alter the temperature settings to increase or decrease the temperature in half-second intervals. The Tarot Nano features a button-locking mechanism that will prevent any accidental button presses. By holding down the + and Menu buttons simultaneously, the buttons will lock and the Tarot Nano is completely locked down. If you wish to flip the screen orientation, you can hold down the + and - but-tons and the screen will flip 180°. If you need to check which firmware version you’re running, holding down the Fire + Menu buttons will display the installed firmware so you can be sure the Tarot Nano is always up-to-date.
The Veco Tank is an impressive 2mL top-filling sub-ohm tank that’s constructed out of Stainless Steel and heat-resistant Pyrex glass. This tank stands at 45mm tall and 22mm wide and provides a dual adjustable top-airflow construction which makes this tank com-pletely leak proof. This unique design forces air through the outside of the coil and direct-ly up through the center of the chimney, enhancing the overall flavor experience while effectively cooling down the coils. The Veco Tank uses a threaded 510 connection and houses a gold plated contact pin. Perhaps the most impressive feature of the Veco Tank is its EUC coil compatibility. When removing the base of the tank, it looks like the coil is nowhere to be found. That’s because the EUC coil is non-threaded and doesn’t need to be screwed onto the base. Instead, the EUC coils slide effortlessly into the tank, support-ing a truly leak-proof design while providing an intuitive and hassle-free method of swap-ping out the coils. Pre-installed inside the tank is a tiny 0.4 ohm Clapton “Eco Universal Coil” that’s constructed out of Stainless Steel and supports four large wicking ports. This flavor-fueled atomizer head houses a single Clapton coil and is wicked with Pure Organic Cotton. Additionally, The Eco Universal coils are constructed with far less building mate-rials than a traditional coil, promoting an affordable design that’s friendly to your wallet.
All in all, the Tarot Nano provides huge vaping potential despite its small size. The onboard OMNI chip supports a level of user-friendly customization that’s unheard of for devices of its size, even when compared to some of the larger and more popular vape mods out there. If you’re looking for an attractive, ultra-compact kit that provides a flavor-ful tank and affordable coils, don’t miss out on a chance to scoop up Vaporesso’s latest Tarot Nano 80W TC Starter Kit.

Welcome to Misthub's Guide to Variable Voltage / Variable Wattage Mods. While these devices were once rare and very costly, the rapid evolution of vaping has made these devices quite popular, widely available and very affordable. Today we will discuss what is a variable voltage / variable wattage device, how they work, and the various advantages and disadvantages of these devices. What Is A VV/VW Mod? A VV/VW Mod at it's simplest is a battery powered vaping device that uses circuitry to regulate its output power and allows adjustment of it's output power in two ways: 1. By adjusting the voltage. 2. By adjusting the wattage. Additionally these devices employ protection circuitry to provide a wide variety of safety features to protect the user and/or prevent damage to the device itself. The safety features of VV/VW Mods make them a fantastic device for new and veteran vapers alike. Today, there is a massive selection of these types of these devices. Their maximum output power and other features are just as varied. With so many choices in devices it's good to know they are all quite similar internally. These devices are controlled by a micro processor which is what allows for and controls the variable settings, safety features, and secondary features like displaying battery life, atomizer resistance, etc. The only significant internal differences are the microprocessor itself, whether it uses replaceable or internal batteries, and if those batteries are in a parallel or a series circuit. Battery placement determines if... Learn more
Overview of Ohms Law and Vape Safety Mechanical mods, high wattage regulated mods, rebuild-able dripping atomizers and rebuild-able tank atomizers are becoming extremely popular. Most experienced vapers quickly realize the cost savings of rebuilding and make simple RDA's / RBA's and RTA's part of their daily life. It's no surprise - for the cost of a pack of coils you could buy a year supply of kanthal wire and organic cotton - the building blocks of most vape coils built today. Additionally, self build coils in RDA's tend to produce a lot more vapor and superb flavor over traditional coils, but this post is not about that. This post is about vaping safely and what that means. Let's face it, a metal tube with a high voltage battery or a high wattage (think 150W) box mod with two is nothing to smirk at. You are putting that thing right next to your eyes, mouth and face and firing (activating) it. You WANT to be safe! Before building your first coil, it is highly recommended to buy an ohms meter. This is a device that will tell you the resistance of the coils on your atomizer. Armed with resistance (Ω) you will be able to easily figure out if your setup is safe. But first, what exactly is "safety" when it comes to mods and e-cigs? Easy, the batteries used today for most mechanical and box mods are either 18650 or 26650 series batteries. These batteries vary in Amps - amps... Learn more
Introduction to Variable Voltage vs. Variable Wattage for E-cigs There is a lot of confusion between variable voltage vs. variable wattage for e-cigs. Both variable voltage and variable wattage are technologies that control the power output delivered to your e-juice delivery device like atomizer, cartomizer, or clearomizer. If you are unfamiliar with different types of e-liquid delivery devices be sure to check out our Tutorial: Atomizer vs. Cartomizer vs. Clearomizer. Some people prefer variable voltage to variable wattage, and in most cases it boils down to skill level and the level of control you want when vaping. Although, variable voltage and variable wattage control power output of your battery, they achieve the same result in a different way. The choice between variable voltage and variable wattage comes into play if your tend to switch between different types, brands and models of atomizers, cartomizers, and clearmizers. As you know from our previous tutorials, different type, brands, and models come with different resistance levels of coils. To achieve desired power output while using a variable voltage battery you will need to know the resistance level of your e-juice delivery device. Using the Vaping Power Chart and the resistance level (in Ohms) you will need to cross-reference or calculate appropriate voltage to achieve desired power output or wattage. With variable wattage feature resistance level of a coil is calculated automatically by a microprocessor of electronic cigarette. There is no need to use Vaping Power Chart or do calculations by hand. However, it is... Learn more
Significance of Variable Voltage and Vaping Power Chart Modern electronic cigarettes come with many features and one of these features is variable voltage. Not every e-cigarette comes with option of variable voltage, some already come with preconfigured constant power output. These types of e-cigarette are simple to use and more suitable for beginners. They deliver predesigned power to model specific atomizer, cartomizer, or clearomizer. However, more advance users prefer an option of variable voltage which allows them to control power output to achieve ideal vapor production. Them main reason why you would choose a variable voltage electronic cigarette over constant power e-cigarette, is the variety of different types and brands of atomizers, cartomizers, and clearomizers on the market today. If you are unfamiliar with different types of e-juice delivery devices be sure to check out our Tutorial: Atomizer vs. Cartomizer vs. Clearomizer. Different types and brands of atomizers, cartomizers, and clearomizers all have one thing in common, they all have some type of heating coil which converts power delivered by your batter to heat. The heating coil can have different resistence level, which simply means that it requires different power levels to achieve ideal heating temperature. Consequently, variable voltage option allows you to set ideal power output depending on brand and model of atomizers, cartomizers, and clearomizers you are using. It is important to note that highest voltage is usually not ideal power setting and can lead to burning of e-juice or even risk of coil burnout. Therefore, always pay... Learn more
