SMOK comes back to the scene once again with a new addition to their phenomenal line of high powered devices with the GX350. Constructed out of the same lightweight Zinc Alloy SMOK has used in most of their newer mods, the GX350 has a sleek finish that fits comfortably in the hand as well as the pocket, which may be surprising considering the device houses four whopping 18650 batteries. Sitting just below the 510 connection on the top of the device is the vibrant and vivid OLED screen that brightly displays all of the live vaping stats in real time. The GX350 is an ergonomically shaped modular Box Mod, delivering up to 350 watts of power and running on four 18650 cells with 24k gold plated contacts. The GX350 device was designed to fit comfortably in the hand or pocket and is surprisingly compact with dimensions set at 84.5mm by 58mm by 40.4mm and a 151mm perimeter. The device is capable of temperature control for a multitude of wires, allowing you to choose from Ni200 Nickel, Titanium, and Stainless steel. The Zinc alloy construction of the GX350 is lightweight, yet extremely durable, coming in with a two-tone paint scheme and small carbon fiber cutouts on the sides. The top of the device is equipped with a Stainless Steel threaded 510 connection and houses a spring-loaded 24k Gold plated contact pin to ensure maximum conductivity. Behind the 510 connection is the super vivid OLED display, housing an epic array of live vaping stats, such as: Battery life, current wattage, current resistance, draw strength, voltage, and a puff duration counter at the very bottom.

The GX350 has a multitude of built-in safety features to provide the most enjoyable vaping experience, including Temperature Protection if the board inside of the Mod gets too hot from use, Low resistance protection to prevent firing of any coils that have shorted or are under the minimum resistance rating, Over discharge protection to prevent the device from pushing out more than the intended power and causing damage to the device, and Over/Under voltage protection to protect the device from drawing too much or too little power from your batteries. The GX350 is also outfitted with a plastic shielding inside the battery compartment to protect the device from a battery short or fault. Most normal sized batteries should fit within the plastic tubing, however, this plastic tubing can be removed if needed.

The settings for the GX350 are easy to navigate and allow the user complete control over their specific vaping preferences. In Variable Wattage mode, you can fire from a range of 6 Watts to 350 Watts and minimum resistance of 0.1 ohms and a maximum of 3.0 ohms. In Temperature Control mode, the GX350 offers an operational temperature range of 200°F - 600° or 100°C - 315°C, and will fire from its minimal resistance range of 0.06 ohms and a maximum of 3.0 ohms. The GX350 provides a Draw Strength option as well, allowing the user to customize the first few seconds of their vape with SMOK’s five custom ramp-up settings (Min, Soft, Normal, Medium, and Hard) that will rapidly (or slowly) increase the devices power to reach the desired wattage. For example, a Min draw strength will cause the GX350 to slowly reach the device’s set wattage. If the Hard draw strength is chosen, the GX350 will quickly ramp up to the device’s current wattage with minimal ramp-up time.

The TFV8 Cloud Beast tank included with the kit has been based off of the TFV4 model and improved upon in virtually every single way possible, housing a massive delrin drip tip to prevent spit back and heat buildup, two large and fully adjustable air holes on the bottom, and a large chimney that can handle massive amounts of vapor. The locking/pivoting top cap that Smok debuted with their game changing TFV4 platform is included on this tank as well, swiveling to the side to unveil a larger fill port, a stronger seal at the top, and a chimney that is capable of delivering massive amounts of vapor. The TFV8 Cloud Beast is noticeably bigger than many other tanks on the market today, measuring in at 24.5mm wide by 69mm tall.

The Cloud Beast’s airflow channels has seen a drastic 18% increase in size and airflow capacity from the original TFV4, and unlike the TFV4, the Cloud Beast supports two wide airflow channels as opposed to the TFV4’s four smaller airflow inlets. Despite only having two airflow channels, the TFV8 Cloud Beast still offers a significant increase in airflow control when compared to the previous TFV4. Although the new TFV8 Cloud Beast can produce massive, thick plumes of vapor with relative ease, the user can also fine-tune their airflow experience with a simple twist of the airflow control collar, thus allowing for deep, wide-open “Direct-to-Lung” hits, or tight and restricted “Mouth-to-Lung” hits.

The top-fill swivel cap allows the user to refill the tank effortlessly on the go, and is large enough to accommodate nearly all sizes of glass drippers or bottle nozzles for fast and painless filling. Pre-installed inside of the tank is a V8-T8 0.15 ohm Octuple Coil atomizer head that’s been rated for use between 50 and 260w (best between 120-180W). Also included with the kit is a V8-Q4 0.15 ohm Quadruple Coil that’s rated between 50 to 180w (best Between 90-150w). The V8-T8 coils is one of Smok’s most powerful coil heads and will produce large clouds and great flavor, while the V8-Q4 was specifically designed for increased flavor production and less e-juice consumption. Both of the TFV8 coils are wicked with Pure Organic Japanese Cotton and feature Kanthal coils in SMOK’s renown dual-parallel vertical configuration. The V8-T8 houses 8 coils, in four sets of parallel, and has four large wicking ports on the outside, one for each set of coils, ensuring a fast and consistent vaping with rapid paced wicking. The V8-Q4 features a quad coil in dual-parallel configuration, and supports four vertical rows of slanted wicking ports, evenly spaced around the housing to provide consistent, non-stop wicking.
